Once of the Lilo and Stitch deleted scenes has been circulating around the internet. Namely, this one: You can find a few articles written about it recently. I just think it's funny and cool it's getting attention. Anyone who bought the special edition dvd many years ago from the UK or 3 years ago from the US knows about it. I think this meme can speak for those diehard Lilo and Stitch fans.

I remember seeing this on youtube, so thanks for giving us the link! I really love seeing deleted scenes in movies, they always tend to be interesting stuff I wish hadn't gotten cut out.

I remember seeing this on youtube, so thanks for giving us the link! I really love seeing deleted scenes in movies, they always tend to be interesting stuff I wish hadn't gotten cut out. This scene is pretty deep, but it also addresses a sensitive subject. I never knew the perspective from the locals when tourists come. I find it funny how Lilo points towards the beach in two different directions. I can see why this scene was deleted. First of all, it doesn't really belong. By this point, the audience already know Lilo is a troubled girl. Additionally, Lilo's trying to teach Stitch about being a model citizen. Does she just turn around and forget about that? It doesn't really work here. This scene would fit much better in the beginning before meeting Stitch. (But I do think he's cute because of how he raises his arms like that XD) On the other hand, this scene alienates tourists, who are mostly white. This would make a lot of them uncomfortable here, and I can see why it was removed essentially.

I remember seeing this WAY back. And yeah, like you I understand why the scene was taken out. You explained it far better than I could.

I remember and LOVE that deleted scene! Great that the scene is getting attention! Actually the "teaching Stitch to be a model citizen by teaching him to be Elvis" is what replaced this scene but all the same it didn't really fit in that spot in the movie. According to my 2-disc DVD scenes like this were removed because they were distracting from the main story if I remember correctly It's really adorable though and I wish they had Lilo scare tourists in "Lilo & Stitch:The Series" at some point. That would have been SO funny!
