Okay, Stitch has been saved. But what about Lilo? Since she has obviously been demoted from being a main character in the franchise, our mission is not over yet. Sadly we can't control what the Japanese post in their Anime which therein lies the problem. What we need to do is petition for a new Lilo & Stitch series set to occur AFTER the Anime. Using Stitchthebest36's upcoming story "Lilo & Stitch: A New Start" as an example would definitely go a long way.

I have a feeling if we could get Lilo in the anime and then have Stitch! in the U.S we can at least have Stitch go back to Lilo at the end of the anime. I will start sending messages to Disney about that right away.

I just saw Stitch! an hour ago on Disney XD!! It was season 1 episode 1. I have to admit that it was so darn cool to see it on TV!! Some people have asked me whether the "Lilo has a boyfriend" line is still in the American dub. I have no idea if it is because my cable signal cut out right as Jumba mentioned Lilo. Ironic. What bad luck LOL! If I find any differences in the American dub I will let you all know. So great to have our Stitch back on TV where he belongs!
Now we just need to get Lilo back on TV. Either through more Lilo anime episodes, the Lilo & Stitch The Series reruns, or a whole new series. Let's all contact Disney and let them know that we are over joyed to have Stitch back on TV. But that Lilo deserves as much screen time as Stitch! I saw them showing reruns of "Recess" after "Stitch!" so how hard can it be for them to air Lilo & Stitch?!

I don't know. The place I am at is the one who gets cable for all the rooms. However for some reason Disney is not included. And even if it was, it would likely only be Disney Channel, not XD so it wouldn't matter.

lol aw man stitchthebest, that IS bad luck! Haha, oh well, at least it let you see the rest of the episode though. Glad you finally got to see it here in the us! Maybe that means it'll be consistent on Disney XD? I looked through my DVR, and I see there's another episode called 'the good deed counter' playing tuesday night. As for the cable, yeah, that's a problem sometimes. We didn't get disney XD/toon disney (since that's what XD USED to be called), until we bought a new cable package that included it. Unfortunately, it's not in a lot of packages. :c Sorry about that man. Maybe somebody will upload the english episodes to youtube though, so you can catch them there? People are usually really good about that! It does seem odd they don't rerun it that much anymore, but I guess it's because it's old. I wish they would rerun Buzz lightyear of star command, but they never seem to do that anymore either. They have a real issue with replaying old shows sometimes it seems, except for reallllllly early in the morning when nobody awake is watching that channel. As for the contacting Disney thing....power to ya if you write Disney one way or another, just don't get your hopes up too high that they'll do anything based on emails or petitions. I hate to be the debbie downer here, but it's very unlikely they'll do anything based on contact. They wouldn't be able to end the anime with such a change, because I'm pretty sure the anime is already finished, so there's no way they'd take a year or months to make a new ending. Reruns of the old series on one of the channels is way more likely, and you never know they might- because they DO play it randomly sometimes- but if you write them you're likely to either never hear a response..Or get an automated one like 'thank you for writing us blah blah. we're happy you enjoyed lilo and stitch blah blah'. XD I just know from experience of my brother writing companies like this, and also from learning a lot about these companies in my animation programs. I know they don't look at this kind of mail a lot at all, which isn't fair I think, but they are busy so...Blah. But hey, who knows? You could get lucky. Don't let my words you from trying! I do hope for all the fans that they do play reruns of the old series, though!

They wouldn't be able to end the anime with such a change, because I'm pretty sure the anime is already finished, so there's no way they'd take a year or months to make a new ending. That does suck since the Japanese has control of the Anime in the end, not the Americans. However there is no rule stating that we can't push for a new Lilo & Stitch series set to occur AFTER the Anime. The plot would include Lilo & Stitch reuniting for good. Using Stitchthebest36's upcoming story titled "Lilo & Stitch: A New Start" as an example would go a long way

It does, but hey, that's life I guess. And no, there's no rule, and I encourage you guys to try. I'm just saying don't get too excited that pushing them will have any effect, especially using a fanfic. Companies like that usually will not use fanfiction for anything for legal reasons, unless they run some sort of contest. They can get into a lot of trouble using stuff people not under their employment have written, so they tend to not even look at that sort of thing. Unfortunately some stupid people out there would throw a fit and try to sue companies if they used something from a fanfic, so those people have ruined it for everybody. :/
But, in any event, if you guys feel so strongly about it, I do encourage you to write Disney and tell them how much you love the old lilo and stitch, your thoughts about lilo, etc. Hey, you never know what might happen, right? More power to you guys!

I say we have a spin-off with no humans involved, just aliens. XP The only reason I am a little 'meh' about Stitch! is because it connects itself with the old series. If it was just a spin off, honestly I wouldn't mind. : P.
Although I am still pushing for the aliens only idea. XD

Bad news. Look: www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/201....ed-on-disney-xd it says "Disney XD aired 5 episodes this week after show premiered on Monday The official Disney XD website no longer lists the Stitch! anime series on its television schedule after Friday, October 28. The schedule only lists what is being aired until November 11, and it notes that the show will not be broadcast in the next two weeks. The series had premiered on the channel on Monday and was slated to air on weekdays at 9:00 a.m. The channel aired five episodes of the series this week. Stitch! is based on Disney's Lilo & Stitch! film. Disney co-produced the series with Japan's MADHOUSE anime studio. Unlike the previous Lilo & Stitch! sequels which starred a Hawaiian girl named Lilo, the Stitch! series is based in a fictional island (not dissimilar to Japan's Okinawa) with a heroine named Yūna. The title character Stitch, a runaway alien test subject, remains largely unchanged in MADHOUSE's version. The anime series spawned two sequel series in Japan: Stitch!: Itazura Alien no Daibōken and Stitch!: Zutto Saikō no Tomodachi. The original series premiered in Japan in 2008, and the two sequels premiered in Japan in 2009 and 2010." THIS STINKS! HOW COULD DISNEY JUST STOP AIRING STITCH!? IF STITCH! IS CANCELED FOREVER I SWEAR I WILL LOSE IT!!!!!!!! I WANT STITCH! BACK!!! However if they took it off the air to re-edit the season 1 dialogue so it matches up with the Lilo episode that would actually be a great idea. I called the manager of Disney XD today and left him a message. Hopefully by some miracle he will call me back and tell me what the heck is going on here with Stitch!

It's possible that it's just taking a break, so don't be TOO livid just yet. Pretty much every show goes on break for a little while, and some like this. I remember when I was watching DBZ kai on nicktoons, the show suddenly stopped playing for several months and they never explained why, there was never anything on their site or the tv guide about it. But it did eventually come back, so it's entirely possible that maybe this is one of those cases?
