Check this out!!!!!:
It's the scene in the Lilo episode of the anime where Lilo and Stitch meet at the airport SUBTITLED!!! I think it might change your minds about the Lilo episode. Lilo says what we have all been hoping she would say!!!!! Yuna is extra sweet here too.

I gotta say that the animation is fantastic. I actually haven't watched much of the anime at all, but I like that they copy the stitch style very well while still being an anime. It's impressive. :3
On the scene thing, eh... I'm half and half. I really do hope that's what Lilo is going to say (if we ever get this here in the states. Are we? I don't know.) It was touching that she did remember him, and what she had to say was wise and moving as well. Their actual meeting was more along the lines of the friendship I remember, so I've changed my mind a little, on how they are representing the dynamic between them.
On the other half though, I'm still a bit iffy. When they showed me what I can only assume is the reason Stitch left, I went 'are you effing kidding me'. If this is to show that Stitch can be immature and a bit selfish, in contrast to how much lilo has matured...then fine, I can accept that and it makes sense.
But if THAT was supposed to be some oh noes terrible reason why they had to separate them, I'm sorry to say, it keeps me a bit 'meh' with the anime. I just don't get Stitch's reasoning, if it's supposed to be a very serious moment. Lilo is a teenager in that scene, so obviously she and Stitch have been hanging out and been friends for years . (unless the anime has altered any of the movie's history. Again, I haven't seen enough of the anime to know that.)
So why Stitch would become so morose and run away because Lilo didn't come to him ONE freaking day actually annoys me. The Stitch I remember would be worried about Lilo and go looking for her, not run away from her. And I also find it incredibly hard to believe Stitch WOULDN'T have known that nani was pregnant. (Yet again, unless he wasn't living with the family anymore by that point. If that's the case, it changes things a little, but still not enough for me.)
I'm not even really into lilo and stitch anymore, and that scene still...bothers me a little. I don't mean to rag on the anime if you like it. I'm sorry if my words offend anybody, I really don't mean it. It's a beautifully drawn anime, and it does have its touching moments- so I absolutely can see why people would like it.
Personally, I just...I really don't know how to feel about it, even now. And maybe a great deal of that is because I've lost a lot of interest in the fandom?

I agree, it still is inconsistent from what we're familiar with, yet it did shed some light for Lilo.
