Have any of you Lilo & Stitch fans ever heard of "Goosebumps"? It`s children`s horror TV series, made in the late 1990s. It`s based on the same horror book series of the same name by R.L.Stine.
You all remember the episode "Phantasmo" from "Lilo & Stitch the Series" where Stitch gets framed by the ghost-like experiment for pranks and destruction, it`s very similar to one of the episodes from the "Goosebumps" series called "Night of the Living Dummey", where an evil dummey named Slappy comes to life and frames a girl named Amy for similar pranks.
Here`s my video, comparing the two episodes. As you watch the video, you`ll notice clearly how similar both episodes are, with Stitch and Amy getting framed for a bunch of similar pranks. (Perhaps the idea for "Phantasmo" was got from "Night of the Living Dummey", but who knows?). Enjoy the Video.

Hi everyone I just thought I`d let you all know that I currently have plans of taking this video down from YouTube. The video has not been performing very well at all in almost 4 years of being on YouTube, yet while some of my other Lilo & Stitch videos (and other Disney and Non Disney videos) where slow at performing with viewings they eventually made it over 1,000 or 2,000 views within a year or 2, but this video has still only had up to 227 views. It therefore seems that hardly anyone is interested in it and for some time I have been considering to take it down.
But I`m not only planning to take it down due to a lack of viewings but I`m also worried about copyright issues with using clips from a Goosebumps episode (I haven`t received any warnings yet but still I remember someone getting terminated from YouTube for posting up the entire Goosebumps series (this episode is so far the only Goosebumps episode I have as I`m not really a fan of the series (I`d only got the episode to compare it with Lilo & Stitch`s Phantasmo episode)).
Therefore, based on what I`ve just said I might take the video down at some point soon, I`m just letting you all know so as not to take it down without warning. If any of you have anything to say against this just let me know. This is so far the only video I`m thinking of removing, all my other videos are staying up.

I think perhaps part of why this video doesn't perform well is because it is so long. I personally loved it but you basically showed the full episode of each show in a single video so maybe people don't have the patience to watch all of that. My suggestion would be to maybe remake the video with shorter clips. I'd be sad to see this video go. I am sorry for my late reply. I just had some personal issues this week.

No worries on the late response, I understand. Anyway yes I think you are right in saying that the video is too long and people possibly feel they don`t have time to watch it all. When I was making it I did try to cut it down, but it was difficult because there was so many scenes to compare between the two episodes, and I found it too difficult to cut it below 15 minuites. If you want me to keep the video up then Ok, I`ll keep it up (but if I get any copyright warnings on it I may half to take it down) and if you think I ought to make the video shorter I might give it another shot one day if I get some time (possibly I ought to split the original video into 2 videos like I was going to originally, but I`m not sure). Anyway thanks for giving me your feedback.

But yes I think it is a shame to take it down since you make such good points and the length does have a purpose, unless you have to for copyrights which I would completely understand as I would not want you to get kicked off of youtube. A remake is certainly a nice idea.

I`m very sorry to say this but this video recently got blocked by YouTube all over the world, due to copyright claim by Disney and I`ve had to remove the video as a result. I regret to have had to remove it, in light of how you liked it, but I feel it was all for the best as I don`t want to get my account removed. In any case the video did not perform very well over the 4 years as you already know, having only had about 230 viewings. But so far all my other videos are still up for you to enjoy watching.

I'm sorry the video got blocked and removed but that's just how it is with youtube sometimes. I'm surprised that Disney complained. I would have thought the makers of Goosebumps would have complained first. Disney might have complained because you used almost the entire episode. Next time just use clips to make your point and make the video shorter. Of course this is only my opinion. It's really up to you.

Yikes, that stinks! I've had that happen before, and honestly the best thing you can do is remove it to lighten how many strikes your account has. Still, I'm sorry to hear that happened. Ugh, youtube, WHYYY. And it was probably viacom. I just associate everything terrible with them hahah.

But yes as you say it was probably due to me using nearly the whole episode of the "Phantasmo" episode. While YouTube blocked the video, I removed it myself to avoid anymore strikes. I doubt I`ll ever make comparison videos like that again in future, but if I do I`ll try to make them shorter so as to avoid getting anymore videos blocked (and also to avoid getting my account terminated). Anyway just enjoy all the rest of my videos.

Ugh, youtube, WHYYY. And it was probably viacom. I just associate everything terrible with them hahah. Well as "Stitchthebest36" said, Disney probably complained about the video because I used nearly the whole "Lilo & Stitch" episode. This is so far the first time this has ever happened to me but as you say it is always better to remove the video once it`s been blocked so that you avoid any more strikes. I`m not really that bothered that I had to remove the video because the video never performed very well with viewings over it`s 4 years on YouTube and I was thinking about removing it anyway. Anyway in light of this incident I`ll be a lot more careful with how I make and upload videos to YouTube so hopefully I won`t get anymore videos blocked with strikes.
