This might sound sorta stupid but does anyone know what the 3 spikes on Stitch's back are used for? I heard on a website once that the antennie on his head help his hearing but it didn't say if the spikes were used for defense or what.

I didn't think they really had a particular purpose. I thought they were just kind of for show, to make him look more alienlike. The best guess I can come up with is to make him look more threatening. They kind of remind me of eye spots that some caterpillars and butterflies have to scare away potential predators. That is just a guess though, because I don't really think Stitch has to worry to much about being attacked. He's very capable of defending himself.

According the the Disney adventure magazine, the spikes and his claws make Stitch a "super-warrior." Stitch uses sonar for hearing, and his ears can move in any direction to pick up vibrations. His antennae pick up and transmit microwave energy too. Turns out, microwaves make him go crazy because of that.

Really Blizzy? I didn't know that stuff. But that's interesting information. Hehe, poor Stitch...able to be messed up by microwaves. I kind of wish we'd seen more of that though. >.>

Too bad we never really got to see Stitch use his spikes or antennae in that way as mask said. I bet the microwaves make Stitch go crazy in the same way coffee does(Coffee makes my boojiboo's body go crazy too but he doesn't really give a darn LOL!) I wonder if Stitch can drown out the microwaves when his antennae are inside his head in "dog form"?

I can only remember when there was a shot of a microwave, a possibility for Stitch to get rid of Mr. Stenchy. By the way, when I mean crazy, I mean annoyingly crazy. The article said he would either destroy it or head for the hills away from it. He must not like it all at.

Sort of like how a really high pitched noise might annoy a dog I guess.
